Recently I was privileged to minister in Denmark as part of Revive Israel's ministry to the nations, including participating in the "Aglow" Denmark National Conference. The Danish economy and standard of living are among the highest in Europe. Other European countries are trying to imitate what is called "the Danish model." The prosperity enjoyed by the country of Denmark is the blessing of God evidenced in the material world.

In prayer I had a revelation about the Danish part in hastening Yeshua's soon return:
"For I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'" Matthew 23:39

Speaking to the Jewish leadership of Jerusalem, Yeshua set a prerequisite for His return. This is the first condition. He is not returning until they invite Him back. Until this condition is fulfilled "... you shall see Me no more ..."

Anti-Semitism, Nazism and Islamic Jihad all hold common ground in trying to prevent the Jewish people from making this declaration. Through the centuries these demonic forces have killed and persecuted the Jewish people, prevented the Jews from returning to Jerusalem and tried to keep Jerusalem non-Jewish. They are trying to stop the Jewish people from welcoming Yeshua back to Jerusalem.

In October 1943, during the Second World War the Danish underground smuggled the Jews from Denmark to neutral Sweden. They did it in a few days right under the nose of the Nazi fleet. King Christian X and the Danish government supported this operation. 7200 Jews were saved. 492 Jews were caught by the Germans and sent to a camp in Czechoslovakia, and even after their arrest the Danish government kept sending them food and medicine. Thanks to that operation, only 150 Danish Jews died in the Holocaust. For this the whole Danish nation was given the title "Righteous Among The Nations" by Yad Vashem, Israel's national memorial to the Holocaust.

There are individuals from many nations who have been granted this title but only the Danish nation received it as a whole. Because the king and the government took responsibility and led this righteous act, authority and blessing came upon the whole Danish nation. This was actually part of ushering Yeshua in, making a way for Him by preserving the people who need to invite Him to return. Denmark has special responsibility to pray for the salvation of the Jews and has the authority and the blessing to make it happen.

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." Matthew 24:14

This is the second condition. Yeshua says here that He is not returning until we will be witnesses to Him to the ends of the world. This condition is also known as "The Great Commission" (Mat 28:16-20, Acts 1:6-8). Yeshua is giving us complete authority over heaven and earth to bring the gospel to the most distant parts of the planet. Even the internet and satellite television are used today to serve this purpose.

In 1731 a missionary movement was born when King Christian VI of Denmark agreed to support the work of the Moravian emissaries in India, the Caribbean and around the world. The Danish participation in the Great Commission preserved her people 200 years later from participating in the Holocaust. Standing with Yeshua in fulfilling the two conditions brings with it irrevocable blessing, responsibility and authority. The righteous choices of the king brought these blessings to the entire nation

Let's pray for this small but special nation. Pray that the Danish believers will face down the evils of their generation, humanism and Islam. Pray for her to stand firm in helping fulfill the two conditions for Yeshua's return, and to continue in the blessing and authority God gave her forefathers.

Pray also for our countries' leaders. As the Danish kings brought the blessing of God on their nation, so too can our leaders. Pray for your president, your prime minister, your mayor and even your boss. Their decisions can make the difference in whether your nation goes hand in hand with God, or against Him.
