Clearly, we are not to freak out with fear and discouragement, but rather take up our positions to "hasten the day of His coming" (2 Peter 3:12). One way to do that is to give our energies and faith to strengthening the nation of Israel and especially the local, indigenous Jewish believers in Yeshua. In fact, the Lord speaks of them (us!), quoting Messianic Psalm 118, in a key prelude to teaching on the End Times. "You will not see me again, until you say 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord (Baruch haBa b'Shem Adonai)'" (Matthew 23:39).

Our role is not one of passive observation, but of active participation. With that in mind, I want to issue a personal invitation, together with my treasured colleagues, Asher Intrater (Revive Israel) and Daniel Juster (Tikkun International), and with our congregational leaders, Eddie Santoro (Ahavat Yeshua, Jerusalem), Avishalom Teklehaimanot (Ohalei Rachamim, Kiryat Yam), Leon Mazin (Shavei Tzion, Haifa & Netzer HaGalil, Upper Nazareth) and Guy Cohen (Katzir Asher, Akko). What in the world is happening? The occurrence one right after the
other of natural disasters, national revolutions and continued terrorism is
too much to ignore. Yeshua said that these things would happen. In Matthew
24, Luke 21 and Mark 13 His description underscores the destabilization of
the world as His return approaches. How relevant then, was His conclusion.
"When you see these things happening, life up your heads, your
redemption is drawing near" (Luke 21:28).
Our closely related ministries - Revive Israel, Tents of Mercy and
Tikkun International - believe that one of the central keys to this
end-times revival in Israel is the covenant partnership between Jesus'
Jewish and Gentile followers. Over the past five years, we have experienced
the deepening of this friendship through four gatherings of 9-10 days, in
which we traveled through Israel worshiping, praying, learning and
fellowshipping together. Our last such event saw men and women from 19
nations come together with their Israeli brothers and sisters. It was
unforgettable. That was in October, 2010. Yet world conditions and
prophetic events have undeniably been accelerating in the short time since
then. Therefore we are convinced that it is important to gather again in
2012. We are planning as an intercessory tour of Israel and an equipping
conference for March 7-15, 2012.
