Harvest of Asher is a Messianic congregation of Jewish and Gentile believers in Akko, Israel. Akko is part of the unclaimed inheritance of the Tribe of Asher (Judges 1:31), strategically located at the northwest gateway into Israel. God has called us to conquer Akko, not with swords and spears but by reaching out with the love of God. We believe that by restoring the altar of worship to Yeshua, the altars of Baal and Asharath will be torn down. Prayer and intercession will cleanse the land of the blood which was spilt for 5,000 years through the sacrifice to idols and the brutality of foreign conquerors. We proclaim the blood of Messiah Yeshua over Akko preparing the way for His return.

In 1998 my wife Tali and I were seeking God's direction. While reading in Acts about Ptolemais (Greek for Akko), we realized there had been first century believers in the area.

It was then that God revealed to us His heart for the restoration of the altar of worship to Yeshua, the living God of Israel, absent from Akko for over 2,000 years. God showed us that He wants to restore that first century Messianic Community in Akko.

We began with a small home group, humanitarian aid, prayer, and intercession. The Lord birthed in our hearts His mandate for the congregation which is 24/7 prayer and worship to bring physical and spiritual restoration to the city and surrounding area. We saw the dry bones coming to life. Harvest of Asher, a daughter congregation of the Tents of Mercy network was dedicated in the spring of 2005.

The Tikkun office will mail donors an annual consolidated IRS 501(c)(3) receipt for any donations made in the current year. The receipts are postmarked and mailed on or before January 31st of each following year.

Tikkun International is a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization that has partnered with several leaders and ministries abroad to administer donations according to our expressed purposes. When one gives to a Tikkun-connected ministry, one writes checks to Tikkun International and suggests the ministry to which they direct their funds. We are the agency that serves these ministries for U. S. fund management, accounting and audits etc. We seek to honor donor wishes. However, (as is the case with all non-profits) the IRS does require that ultimate control over the disbursement of such funds is according to the decision of the Tikkun board on which are some of the men who lead the connected ministries.

Make checks payable to "Tikkun International". Mail to: PO Box 2997, Gaithersburg, MD 20886-2997.

For donations to individual emissaries, attach a note indicating "for the ministry of -----------", but do not write on the check. By IRS rules (which apply to all non-profits), checks that are designated for individuals on the memo line can not be accepted as a tax deductible gift. We seek to honor donor's requests here, and our emissaries depend upon us doing so.

Currently, as a USA 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organisation, we are only able to offer donation receipts that are acceptable to the United States tax authorities. In particular, donations are not considered tax-deductible by the Canadian tax authorities, neither are they eligible for the UK GiftAid scheme.
