A NOTE FOR DONORS TO THE TIKKUN
INTERNATIONAL® FUND AND
TIKKUN CONNECTED MINISTRIES
Donors are sometimes confused by the relationship of Tikkun
International and the Tikkun Connected Ministries and leaders.
Tikkun is the broad umbrella connecting several leaders and
ministries. When one gives to a Tikkun connected ministry,
one writes checks to Tikkun International and suggests
the ministry to which they direct their funds. We are the
agency that serves these ministries for U. S. fund
management, accounting, and audits etc. We seek to honor
donor wishes. However, (as is the case with all
non-profits) the IRS does require that ultimate control
over the disbursement of such funds is according to the
decision of the Tikkun board on which are some of the men
who lead the connected ministries.
Secondly, donors may contribute to the Tikkun International
Fund and not suggest any specific ministry. If a donor
chooses to do this, the funds will be used according to the
decision of the Tikkun International Board. Presently these
funds are used to support the ministry of Daniel and Patty
Juster, and the needs of connected ministries, related
ministries, and partner ministries (see our web site). The
Tikkun board determines the spending. Therefore, one can
give to the whole of our ministries by giving, without
specific designation, to Tikkun International.
PAYMENTS BY MAIL
Make checks payable to "Tikkun International".
Mail to: PO Box 2997, Gaithersburg, MD 20886-2997.
For donations to individual emissaries,
attach a note indicating "for the ministry of -----------",
but do not write on the check. By IRS rules (which apply to
all non-profits), checks that are designated for individuals
on the memo line can not be accepted as a tax deductible gift.
We seek to honor donor's requests here, and our emissaries
depend upon us doing so.
